During this camp students will discover the fundamentals of entrepreneurship like opportunity recognition, market research, business financials, marketing, and presenting ideas. This immersive program also has the added benefit of connecting you with local business executive and successful entrepreneurs. During this camp you will learn a new skill each day! Including knife skills, frying techniques, dry heat cooking methods and moist cooking methods. At the end of each day you will put your new skills to the test by creating your own lunch! This camp ends with a "Chopped" style experience, where you are given a mystery basket of ingredients to use to create a delicious meal. Will take place at the Sun Valley Culinary Institute 211 N. During this exciting 2-day course, you will learn about different career paths within the aviation industry including airline ground agents, aviation mechanics, corporate flight facilities, airport management, airport fire/rescue, and what it takes to become a pilot. An FAA-certified flight instructor will conduct a basic “ground school” and then you’ll get to experience a scenic introductory flight lesson! Students will experience modern manufacturing by creating and building products. At camp, they will have the opportunity to explore 5 different career paths including welding, HVAC, Automation/Automotive, Plumbing, and and Masonry. During this 5-day camp, students will learn and create through hands-on experiences with industry experts in a safe environment with close supervision.
